Get to know your broker! You may only speak to your insurance broker once a year when it draws close to renewal time, but a good broker will be looking out for your creative business all year round – even if you don’t realise it!
So in keeping with the festive spirit, we asked the Creative Eggar team some hard-hitting Christmas questions. Enjoy!

What’s the worst Christmas present you ever received?
A cancelled flight on Christmas eve whilst working overseas, had to spend Christmas in a terminal building.
What would you ask for as a non-material Christmas present?
It would have to based around the climate, perhaps the invention of perpetual motion, it would solve the demand for energy and emissions.
What is your idea of a perfect Christmas?
I’m generally quite relaxed about Xmas, a bit of food, drink and general cheer works well, a nice holiday somewhere warm is also a treat.
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
It’s a shame this isn’t a question about films (obviously Die Hard!), but for a song, I would go with Fairytale of New York…however, any of the old Motown Xmas songs are great.

As a little Christmas gift to our clients, what would be your one insurance top tip?
In this day and age, I would seriously look at getting a quote for a cyber insurance policy, exposure to cyber risks is a huge and the effect of a cyber attack on a business can be catastrophic.

Why is it getting harder to buy Advent calendars?

The eradication of homelessness would be nice to see.
