In our latest update, meet James Liddell, one of our senior account executives. He’s been with us since early 2019, and brought several years of experience with him. James works with a broad range of clients to provide the right types of cover for a variety of problems.
His speciality is High Net Worth Household insurance, as well as residential and commercial real estate cover. Whether you need help protecting a single property or a large portfolio, James can help.
After growing up in Cumbria, and later Northumberland, James left the north for the bright lights of London nearly 16 years ago. He started his career in telecoms before moving into the insurance industry in 2015 with the Private Client team at R K Harrison.
In his spare time, James is keen on almost all sports; he plays football, cricket, and tennis. When he’s not on the pitch himself, you’ll usually find him in the stands, as he serves a life sentence as a Newcastle United fan.

If you were an animal, what would you be? Definitely a dog. I’d like to think our lurcher, Scout, has a pretty good deal!
What’s your favourite meal? You can’t beat roast beef, with a blackberry and apple crumble for pudding.
Red or White? Tough one. I’m leaning towards red, but I’m generally not too fussy.
If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see? Probably the 1966 World Cup final – it must have been incredible!
What’s at the top of your bucket list? A trip with the family to Australia and New Zealand (accidently coinciding with an Ashes tour).
Who are your favourite band? The Rolling Stones. I saw them live a few years ago and it was a spectacular experience!
